Scope

DunaLog initiative has been called into life by Danube Office of Ulm as well as City of Ulm together with City of Budapest in 2007 in order to advance the cooperation of cities and regions along the Danube. Principles of DunaLog provide an open, discussion-oriented initiative based on self-persuasion of the actors along the Danube in order to define problems together and to prepare joint actions. DunaLog wishes to be an international platform on sharing know how on creating sustainable growth in the Danube Valley as well as it dares to be an astute treasury of information and management skills on Danube-wide international founding.

DunaLog workshop encourage cooperation of Danubian actors via providing opportunities for personal meeting and discussion forum and later on making available an online information platform for communities, businesses and civic initiatives where they can present their selves and looking for partners for investment and development actions. DunaLog promotes discussion and accommodates debate between different cultures, institutions and branches in order that via investigation on real need of local and regional actors comparing current global trends the region become able to define strategic actions and launch joint programmes for a mutual beneficial growth.

For participation please register your project proposal until the 30th of April. The main topics of interest include aspects of cooperation of Danube Area countries on sustainable development:

 

1. Accessibility and development:
      - Logistics;
      - Infrastructure refit;
      - Case studies from Romania and from the EU.
 
2. Environment:
      - Education programs;
      - Case studies from Romania and from the EU
      - Environmental protection.
 
3. Financing opportunities from the EU.
