Wedding Rituals of the Ukrainian Danube Region Moldavians: Traditional Structure and Processes of Contamination

Abstract
The article deals with the wedding rituals of Moldovans of the Ukrainian Danube Region. The main structural components and wedding attributes in the traditional Moldavian ethnoculture are indicated, as well as the ritual actions and specific features of the wedding songs are analyzed. The regional features of the functioning of the wedding ceremony are identified. The functional changes in the studied wedding folklore are traced at the modern stage.
