Digital Pedagogy - An Emerging Field Within the Framework of Education Sciences?

Abstract

Is a digital pedagogy, as a field different from general pedagogy or any other kind of pedagogy? If so, what are the aims, subject of study, methods and principles specific to digital pedagogy? What is digital pedagogy and how is it articulated in the system of education sciences? These are preliminary inquiries in relation to a field that has proven its emergence within the educational sciences, which practice challenges us to expand the body of knowledge and the existing pedagogical methods. This article contributes to the contextualization of the set of information, experiences and scientific knowledge, conditions, relationships, meanings in which the phrase "digital pedagogy" orbits today.
