Abstract

Continuing education has become in the contemporary world, not just a technique or a science, but primarily a social movement aimed at helping people understand their place and role in society, making them able to adapt to the demands and demands of the present , to become efficient and effective. Currently, it is no longer possible to discuss competitiveness, economic performance or socio-professional integration without a practical, not theoretical, awareness of the concept of education, which is an existential continuum. Technology has the potential to encourage, intensify and reinforce active learning. These technologies, especially in eLearning, or in virtual environments offer possibilities for simulation, experimentation, research and self-expression.
