Abstract

At the base of the theoretical and pragmatic approach to education and integration/inclusion is the truth that educational systems and practices must lead to the activation of the authentic psychic potential of each child with certain disabilities. It is therefore necessary to approach the educational process through the prism of its efficiency, efficiency expressed by the level of concordance between social requirements and the product of the educational process, materialized in the elaboration of the internal structure of the human personality. Assistive technologies are devices and solutions that help people with disabilities improve their quality of life, become more independent and participate more actively in the community.
