Rethinking the Professional Training System for Teaching Careers
Last modified: 2025-07-16
Abstract
The rethinking of the professional training system for the teaching career focuses on initial and continuous training, based on the exponential dimensioning of the internships and evolution in the teaching career. The mentor-teacher has a fundamental role because through practice and professional expertise and the vocation for teaching activity, he will determine and identify training needs and will ensure support, mediatization, acceptance/validation and dimension of training at all its stages and levels. Providing mentoring for the teaching career is based on the digital component of the teaching process and aims at curricular ability, as well as initial academic training for the teaching career. The reform of the educational system must emphasize and focus on the pre-university-university systemic relationship through the complexity of the projects.
