Abstract

Abstract: Digital technology has become an integral part of modern education, bringing both significant benefits and challenges to digital balance and student well-being. This article examines, in the Romanian context, how teachers and parents perceive students’ use of technology, highlighting the need to maintain a healthy balance between online and offline activities in the educational process. Theoretical concepts such as digital well-being and the role of educational technology are discussed, followed by an analysis of the role of teachers and parents in guiding children towards responsible digital consumption. In conclusion, both teachers and parents emphasize the importance of collaboration and well-defined strategies to ensure a balanced integration of technology in education, recommending digital training programs, clear rules of use, and promoting students’ digital well-being.
