Abstract

Abstract. In the current evolutionary context, the use of information technologies is absolutely necessary in the educational process at all levels. Students, starting from preschool / preparatory class,  know how to handle PowerPoint slides, at least. High school students are allowed to use their phones during classes, of course, with permission and special assignment from the teacher, to solve applications. At any level, whether it’s a PowerPoint presentation, a short video, or a song, all of these can provide additional stimuli for those with different learning styles (visual, auditory, kinesthetic, etc.). If we also consider the interdisciplinary aspect or the holistic evaluative one, which are increasingly necessary today, the balance will significantly tilt in favor of using ICT in the educational process. Artificial intelligence tends to dominate almost all fields, and in the next 10 years, according to some predictions, “excellent” free tutoring may be possible, somewhat putting the status of teachers at risk. All of this will compel teachers to constantly stay updated on everything that can improve the educational process, without forgetting, however, that their main goal is to help students discover the hidden values of their spirit.
