Abstract

In the teaching-learning process, there is an absolute need to adapt teachers' teaching methodsand techniques and strategies according to the changes occurring in the educational environment.Ignoring the emotional and social needs of students by teachers determines, over time, the lackof motivation and will of students, leading, implicitly, to the decrease in their schoolperformance. Teachers are an important source in cultivating and developing emotionalintelligence, both in formal educational contexts and in non-formal or informal contexts.Implementing new modern strategies for teaching students, based on interactions, can be animportant step towards improving school performance and, implicitly, towards improving thepreparation of future members of society.
