Abstract

The contemporary approach to the professional development of teaching staff has facilitated a significant restructuring of pedagogical science, emphasizing new forms of communication between educators and learners. This transformation involves the integration of novel teaching-learning contexts, mediated by both software and hardware infrastructures embedded within the school and academic environments. Furthermore, it fosters a dynamic framework for creativity and the unrestricted expression of all stakeholders involved in education. Two decades ago, such structural shifts were merely anticipated; today, they are an integral part of the educational landscape. Each innovation contributes constructively to this evolving system—not by altering its foundation, but by expanding it in a layered manner, akin to a multilevel architecture tailored to the needs of contemporary education. This paper offers a critical and constructive analysis of the current educational paradigm. At the same time, it provides a contextual background on the digitization of education at global, national, and institutional levels.
