A Critical Approach of Autopoietic Systems in Economic Discipline

Abstract
In this study we have investigated the concept of autopoietic systems - autonomous, non-linear, with capacity for self-organization and self-repair - in relation to arguments on the definition of economics as science discipline or hermeneutics. The paper addresses in a critical analysis, with scientific arguments, the theory of autopoietic systems in terms of its concept application in the economy and identifies a set of implications that can form the basis for future research in this area. Our research is current and help clarify the concept of autopoietic systems and their usefulness in understanding and improve the mechanisms of functioning of the economy.
