Study on the Dynamics of Robbery Offence in Romania

Abstract
At the level of concept the category of offences against patrimony has not been fully analyzed so far by the specialized studies, due to the complexity of the problems raised by this kind of crime, the varieties of ways and methods of classification reported to different norms, the principle and frequency of these offences. The most serious crime against patrimony is represented by the robbery, both from the sociological perspective, the public perception and the impact it has in the social environment, and from the legal perspective, this being the only complex offense from the category of offenses against patrimony. In other systems of law the assault is known as robbery, the aggravated version being the armed robbery.
