Abstract
Tourism plays an important role in economic and social life, acting as a more dynamic element of the global economic system as a means of diversifying the economic structure as a lever to mitigate imbalances between regions or active means to educate, to raise the education, culture and the people.
This article is aimed essentially treating a topical issue, namely the economic crisis on tourism. Starting from the idea that tourism in Romania is one of the most complex phenomenon, especially in recent years, it is interesting to note that it will turn in relation to financial and economic crisis, what crisis makes its presence increasingly felt in Romania.
Investigating the situation in our country reveals the complexity of the relationship between tourism and the economy. So, the motivation for elaborating this paper is the needing to investigate the touristic preferences of our students and in the end to draw some important conclusions and pointed out a few possible solutions for tourism agencies to apply in the near future, regarding the touristic packages they should promote.
Tourism conected through economic and social development, is evolving rapidly, expanding its sphere of activity. Such travel must be constantly updated concept adapted to change, faced with work and practice, with the other components of the economy.
It speaks more about the crisis that manifests itself increasingly in different areas, and this paper aims to investigate the extent of the crisis affects students interest preferences taken into account.
