Abstract
The circular economy manages industrial and logistical areas such as ports, with numerous practices and application methods adapted to port operations based on an industrial ecology model. As a result of the increase in the volume of transactions, sustainable management of ports is necessary for the long term for a country's environmental, economic, and political interests. A new concept integrates all these directions, named synchro-modality. An empirical analysis will be done to define the action direction that ports should implement.
