Climate and Economical Study on The North Sea Area

Abstract
The North Sea is a major component of Europe in terms of economic importance. Its position favors maritime traffic and economic development in this branch. The North Sea is also one of the busiest waterways in terms of transportation of goods, especially for liquid bulk goods. In this area are found some of the most important ports in Europe, such as Rotterdam, Antwerp and Hamburg. The scope of this paper is to provide an analysis on maritime traffic. Maritime navigation is a condition of the North Sea climate, and therefore an analysis of the climate in this area is necessary. The main goods transported and their quantity over a period of 15 years were investigated.
