Abstract
The study at hand analyses the influence of the social politics of the European Union on social entrepreneurship through the work of the Department for Employment Affairs and Social Protection regarding the management and financing of the related EU programs. The main purpose of this research is to realize a radiography of the activity of this department and the correlation between duties, actions and results. The study uses public and official documents and reports of the department such as: Strategic Plan, Management Plan, Annual Activity Report. With those, the research at hand documents and synthesizes relevant data regarding to the strategy of the European Commission regarding the social entrepreneurship, as well as the Microfinance and Social Entrepreneurship axis of EaSI and Progress Microfinance Facility.
