Abstract
This study presents a brief examination of the crime of counterfeiting of official instruments, in the light of new regulations. The analysis included some similarities, as well as some differences between the regulations in force compared to the previous one. The objective and subjective side of the crime were considered, as well as some considerations related to forms, ways and legislative precedents. The novelty concerns both the examination itself with reference to recent doctrine and the relevant, recent judicial practice. The paper can be useful for the university environment as well as for practitioners, and will be published in the volume of a university course.
