Last modified: 2016-06-21
Abstract
Comparative law is a discipline that focuses on the rules governing various legal systems in order to determine to what
extent they differ from one another. The analysis of various legal norms gives the translator the ability to investigate relevant historical, social and cultural aspects of a nation and to identify the causes and effects of the various factors conditioning the legal systems concerned.
