Prima ediţie a Conferinţei internaţionale: Dunărea – Axa a Identității Europene
ce va fi găzduită de Universitatea „Danubius” din Galaţi, România,
în perioada 29 iunie 2011
Conferinta DAIE isi propune sa concentreze cercetarea științifica din universități riverane Dunării si nu numai pe o problematica larga, dar in același timp circumscrisa unei identități Europene din care nu poate lipsi axa orizontala a Dunării. Mobilizând specialiști din diferite domenii Conferința, forma de manifestare publica a Centrului de studii si cercetări Danubiene vizează interdisciplinaritatea ca deziderat al cercetării universitare.
In fiecare an, cu ocazia Zilei Internaționale a Dunării (29 iunie), una dintre universitățile riverane fluviului va fi gazda itineranta a lucrărilor conferinței.
