Abstract
The paper discloses the essence of the concepts of «tolerance», «ethnotolerance», «culture of international communication» and «polycultural educational area». The author reveals the main problems in Ukrainian Danube Region, the potential of which should be developed at creation of system of methods and principles of formation of tolerance and culture of international communication at students of higher education institutions. Ways of improving the state youth policy and its harmonization with the ethno-national policy in Ukraine are proposed.
