Abstract
As a result of the analytical work carried out, the attention is focused on modern scientific ideas about the phenomenon of "dialogue of cultures". Based on the analysis of pedagogical sources, the self-reflection of the practice of forming European identity among students, a conclusion is made about the potential of such a form as student exchange for the purpose of in-depth study of historical and pedagogical facts in the view of developing the academic mobility of students of the countries of the Danube area.
