Problems of Ethnic Identity in Interpersonal Relations of Students in the Context of a Poly-national Region

Abstract
In the article it is shown that the basic mechanism of formation of ethnic identity in a multicultural society is the education system. On the basis of the carried-out analysis the author suggest to build educational work in the direction of formation of tolerant culture, culture of international communication and interaction, and formation of ethnic and national identity that will promote harmonization of the relations in the conditions of multicultural society.
