Abstract
The phenomenon of European identity is a very complex and ambiguous. An important aspect of this problem is the integration of Muslims in the conditions of modern Europe. Europe compared to Islam is a completely different material and spiritual culture. Linking the values оf human dignity and human rights with the dogma of Islam is almost impossible. And this is a serious challenge to both European and Islamic identity.
