Abstract

The resourceful writer (over 100 published books), Mihail Sadoveanu, used the apostolic occupations of fisherman and hunter as a pretext for fabulous narratives and paradisiacal descriptions of a special beauty. Beyond the pretext for literature, there is a concern for a spatial determinism, sourced by Vasile Conta and Lucian Blaga, which the writer frequented for various reasons.

For fishing: Imparatia apelor/The Kingdom of Water

For hunting: Povestiri vanatoresti/Hunting stories
