The Impact of the Ukrainian Conflict on the Legal Regime of the Danube

Abstract
Russia's invasion of neighboring Ukraine degenerates into conflict with catastrophic consequences on both states but which produces almost as harmful effects on many other countries in the area and even at global level. This conflict situation has determined, in addition to the loss of thousands of human lives and material destruction with serious consequences for both parties involved. Another direct consequence is blocking the Ukrainian ports on the Black Sea, which, along with the extension of the war tends to have particularly serious consequences for food supply chains in the world. In this article we aim at analyzing the influences produced by this conflict on the legal regime of the Danube and especially with regard to navigation on this vital river, especially for the economy of the riparian countries.
