Abstract
Conflict, as an integral part of a society, has attracted attention of scientists for thousands of years. The complexity and social significance of this phenomenon explains the interdisciplinary approach to its study, which can be explained by the social significance of any conflict situation. Today, there is a need to investigate certain language strategies and features of communicative moves in connection with the intensification of the interest of modern linguistic science in the role of language in conflict studies. Linguistic components make it possible to highlight the roles of communicators in understanding the conflict itself; the conflict language of a particular subject is an indicator of man’s belonging to a certain social group, an indicator of value orientations and behavior patterns. On the other hand, language carries the potential of ambiguous interpretation of language units in different contexts, which can lead to misunderstanding and disagreement, unwanted emotional effects and, as a result, provoke a conflict situation. The study the phenomenon of people’s interaction inevitably encounters the concepts of "communicative failure" or "language conflict", which represent confrontation of people in the process of communication. That may lead to sharp escalation of the contradiction and the fierce struggle of two or more sides, who become participants solving the problem that is significant for everyone, and embodied in the use of the appropriate language means.
