Abstract
Today, in the era of increasing intercultural contacts associated with the process of European integration, the role of literary translation in the linguistic and intercultural policy is becoming more and more relevant, especially when it comes to well-known authors, media, social and cultural code of the nation. The author of the article studies the problems of the interpretation of A.S.Pushkin's «Eugene Onegine» by French translators.
