Abstract
A process of formation of the national-territorial political system and its regional components takes place in Ukraine now. Ukrainian Danube region is a unique regional TPS, which historically has been very dynamic due to the change of its state of subordination and the administrative-territorial status. These transformation processes affected the dynamics of the region's population. Preemption demographic crisis phenomena is impossible without understanding the prospects of RTPS. The future of the region - in the formation of cross-border TPS, which will be developed in line with the European strategy for sustainable development of the border regions. This will serve as the removal of latent conflict state of the RTPS that is response to the long-term interests of Ukraine and neighboring countries.
