Last modified: 2024-07-17
Abstract
The promotion of fundamental values for organizational culture has its premises in the changes imposed by the development and complexity of social life, in legislative, economic, technological, demographic and educational conditions. The traditional educational requirements are taken over and applied in the system of virtual activities through alternative study programs and educational services that converge towards the "virtual university". Combining traditional organizational culture elements with academic educational elements adapted to different environments and cultures, through a "virtual" type approach, is the central pillar in the transfer of academic values in a "virtual university". Active participation in the academic virtual environment is imposed by the relational and communication process, by the development and adaptation of the managerial process in a continuous use and strategic change of operational management. The provision of information to students through virtual communication systems by university teaching staff, are adapted and adaptable to opportunities for the development of professional skills using audio-video transmission technologies in the teaching and research process. The impact of the "virtual university" offers new divisions of work within the academic environment through the use of computer and information technologies, time dedicated to scientific research and converging towards teaching and academic research activities.
