Abstract
The article "Policy proposals for public health decentralization in Romania" presents a briefing of the conceptual framework for public health (PH) decentralization and formulates certain recommendations regarding policy alternatives for PH decentralization in Romania. Mainly addressed to health decision makers and PH professionals; the issue is approached through the following: PH core functions. Conceptual framework for decentralization, proposals and concluding remarks for PH decentralization in Romania.
