Context of Developing Media Accountability System in Romania

Abstract

In a vast field, as is that of communication, moral judgments concerning the identification of responsibilities and irresponsibilities of the journalists, it draws on social and legal context of the media. The present study highlights, in a concrete and coherent vision, the efforts of all specialty media organizations to respect and protect the plateau tending toward a quality journalistic act. The accountability act of the journalists requires a previous trial that involves investigation to the rights, duties, standards of action and reaction in their work. Journalists need to tailor their opinion based on a set of ethical values and ethical responsibility to ensure that is important the responsibility to the public and its interests.
