Abstract
Public services, known in Europe as Services of General Economic Interest (SGEI) are activities created, organized and controlled by public authorities (national, regionalor local) to guarantee that service provision is ensured in conditions considered necessary to satisfy the needs of society (Charter drafted in 2000 S1G). These services meet the missions of general interest and are subject to specific obligations by public authorities .
