Some Considerations on Criminal Policy Crime Prevention
Last modified: 2017-04-24
Abstract
The paper deals with the problem of crime policy as part of the general policy of a State and its main component - to prevent and combat crime. Although the concept of criminal policy is used in legal language and not only for more than two centuries, during which there were given different definitions of this concept, there are sufficient indications that this is not correctly received nowadays. For this reason we tried to present a possible definition of what it believes to be the position of any government towards the crime and some parts of this very important work. However, given the view generally accepted today that prevent crime it must precede the fight, I have tried to introduce some feedback about this prophylactic institution from delimiting it in relation to other concepts and activities and continuing with the responsibilities that can distribute in a rational and appropriate way the state authorities.
