Distribution Strategies of Nestlé

Abstract

The article aims at highlighting the main changes and challenges on the distribution strategies of a leading multinational in the FMCG sector triggered by the various crises arising from 2020 onwards. The work is structured in three sections and focuses on the business activities carried out on the Romanian market by Nestle.  The first section is dedicated to distribution policy and the covered distribution channels. In the second part, referring to Nestle and the FMCG distribution, we present a brief history of the company on domestic (Romanian) and international markets and we make an analysis of the evolution of the Romanian market for the Nestle company.  The final section points out the details about distribution strategies used by Nestle and the impact of the COVID-19 crisis on these activities.
