Abstract

The contemporary university faces the most profound transformation in its modern history. The rise of generative artificial intelligence (AI), the accelerated digitalization of the labor market, and the increasingly dynamic demands of the knowledge society require a fundamental rethinking of the mission, structure, and methodology of higher education institutions. This paper analyzes the challenges facing the 21st century university and proposes a conceptual framework for the ethical and effective integration of AI into educational processes. Emerging pedagogical models are discussed – adaptive learning, AI co-created curricula, competency-based assessment, and hybrid universities – and medium- to long-term evolutionary perspectives are identified. The study is based on a synthesis of recent specialized literature and observations from teaching practice in the field of analyst programmer training.
