Abstract
In the article the material on the Danube contemporary poets whose work is well known not only to the cultural circle of intellectuals in Izmail, but also outside the Danube region. Of the many authors, regularly published in the anthology "Izmail Literature", the author emphasizes the creativity of Leonid Andreyev, Vladimir Reva, Vladimir Vorobyov, Sergei Levin, Nadezhda Parshihina, and Isabella Raven. In addition to subjective associations on various topics in the works of these authors observed a particular interest in his native land, located in a picturesque region near the Danube River. Each of the poets offers its own version of the lyrics is an individual talented product of inspiration coming from the subtle perception of the landscape beauties of Danube region.
