The "Danube" Factor of Social and Political Modernization of the Russian Empire (XIX - early XX cen.)

Abstract
Stay in the interests of Danubian principalities of Russia in the XIXth century, as well as integration into the imperial space in the 1812 – 1856 and 1878 – 1917 Bessarabia region (since 1873 – the province) may help to teach the representatives of the Russian establishment with the traditions of local self-government in these regions of Europe and to further develop the strategy for reforming local governance in the Romanov empire on the principles of all estates. By analyzing this information, the author comes to the conclusion that "the Danube" factor of social and political modernization of Russia in the XIX – early XX cen.
