Abstract
The article reveals psychological essence of a value-semantic sphere of a person which is examined as a principal personality formation, its “nucleus” which gives orientation of human’s life activity and determines a relationship “human – world”, and regulates this relations. The article takes up different theoretical investigation aspects of a person value-semantic sphere: its nature, its structural components and their interconnection, dynamics and mechanisms of functioning. The article represents findings of investigation of the students’ value-semantic sphere of the Danube region.
