DAC Project “Gate of the Village” in Budjak

Abstract
The article deals with the aspects of implementation by the Izmail State University students the Danubian Academic Consortium program “DAC People”. It is based on the interaction of creative unions of Budjak region with the academic environment. The first step of its implementation is the project “GATE of the VILLAGE”. Its strategic goal is revival of regional folk art, initiation, acquaintance with the life, way of thinking, recognition of the atmosphere of rural handicrafts, understanding the features of creative thought within craftsmanship on the basis of one of the selected villages of the region, as well as the acquaintance with the life and traditions of artisan skills of its residents and collectively made installation during the three weeks pleinair.
