Abstract
The educational area in Ukrainian Danube Region is multilingual, polyethnic and polycultural. The problems of the formation of intercultural tolerance in the student's environment are analyzed. It is necessary to research a structure of stereotypes and autostereotypes existing among youth for optimization ethnic interactions and prevention interethnic conflicts in the society. Ways of improving the state youth policy and its harmonization with the ethno-national policy in Ukraine are proposed.
