Abstract
The article is devoted to the analysis of changes in the number and ethnic composition of the population of Odessa region at the turn of the 20th - 21st century. The author considered the level of ethnic diversity of the region's population, peculiarities of the territorial location of Ukrainians and other representatives of the main ethnic minorities. It was determined the amount of Ukrainians and other ethnic minorities groups in the general ethnic structure of the population of Odessa region.
