Abstract
The concept of "competitiveness" in the context of regional development has been clarified, as the ability to ensure a high standard of living for the population, income to owners of capital, as well as efficient use of existing economic potential in the region in the production of innovative products / services. The algorithm of dependence of the region's competitiveness on regional market factors, that is, factors of regional pricing, functional orientation of the main factors of production in the region, living standards of the population of the region, social and political factors, is determined.
