Abstract
The article deals with the activities of non-governmental organizations (NGOs), created by Bessarabian Bulgarian ethnic communities after the collapse of the USSR. Independent Ukraine has created favorable conditions for the activities of national communities in the region, which cultural activities include the revival of national traditions, support for the national language, cultural and educational work on the nationalization of historical memory.
