Abstract
The Danube Strategy developed by the European Commission provides countries and regions with an integrated and robust framework to deal with issues that can not be managed in isolation but requires transnational strategic approaches and networking. This allows for better cooperation to increase effectiveness, leverage and policy impact - at EU, national and local level - by using existing policies and programs and creating synergies between them.
