Influence Peddling in the Romanian Law. The Objective Side

Abstract
In the present paper we have proceeded into examining the objective side of the crime of influence peddling considering the current regulation provided in the Romanian criminal law.
From this perspective, the examination took into account the recent Romanian doctrine promoted in connection with this subject. Last but not least, the examination took into account some decisions promoted in the new jurisprudence, as well as older ones, but which link perfectly on the current constitutive content of this crime. The critical examination also includes some critical opinions that have been supplemented by de lege ferenda proposals. The study is part of a university course to be published soon at a recognized publishing house in Romania. The paper can be useful for students, practitioners in the field, and for the legislator (from a possible perspective of amending the incriminating text).
