Adapting the Teaching Process to Online Communication in the Crisis Situation Caused by the COVID-19 Pandemic

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic caused a rapid adaptation of the university teaching process, which took place largely online. This type of didactic communication involves specific strategies and channels that allow the teacher-student interaction. I believe that Danubius University has an advantage because it benefits from the Sakai platform, which allowed online communication with students before this crisis situation.

In this paper I intend to analyze how teaching strategies are adapted for this type of communication to be effective and what advantages and opportunities offer new communication channels.
