Kinship Terms Used in the Inhabitant’s Speech Ukrainian Danube Region

Abstract
The area of the Ukrainian Danube region is characterized by the use ofseveral languages that serve various spheres of life of ethnic groups living in thisterritory. Linguistic contacts of speakers of closely related Slavic languages havean impact on the use of kinship terms, which belong to one of the oldest layers ofcommon Slavic vocabulary. In the speech of the inhabitants of the region, theterms of consanguinity are preserved, however, these terms of properties in theRussian, Ukrainian and Bulgarian speakers are gradually lost under the influenceof various reasons.
