Abstract

Ecological green tourism in the Danube sector of Black Sea is a branch of the economy that has a fantastic potential for development. At this moment, tourism, in general, in the Danube sector of Black Sea, is quite poorly developed, without being valued to its true capacity. The Danube sector of the Black Sea has unique natural resources and a rich cultural heritage. There are very good premises for the development of a green tourism, as long as the non-profit organizations, together with the public authorities, work together, for the same purpose, to develop and promote ecological green tourism. In recent years, projects with European funding have brought a slight revitalization of tourism in this geographical area, training both economic agents in the area and public institutions to find and develop optimal solutions to promote tourism. By consolidating strategic partnerships at the level of all decision-making forces, an accelerated growth of this segment of the economy is estimated in the coming years.
