Politico-Institutional Communication: Challenges and Impacts

Abstract

In a society which is organized according to democratic principles, the public institutions obtain important  prerogatives relating to administration of problems concerning public interest. Communication in administration represents the instrument which follows local institutional politicies contributing to their materialization, it makes known for the public the administrative act, it determines the needs and willings of members of  the community. The issue of communication in public institutions circumscribes in area of actual concerns; well-known authors argued the importance of communicational process. The goal of this article is to analyze the mode in which the communication in local public administration takes place.  It will be mentionned the basic concepts of public communication, the description of fundamental processes of communication, networks and channels. The second part of the article contains a description of communicational practices inside the system of local public administration. It will be presented, as well, the reference framework used for public communication in Republic of Moldova, and will be described and analyzed the  methods of implementing  political having as a milestone electoral campaigns for local elections, also a short analyses of web pages of local public administration authorities  as an instrument of institutional communication. The above mentionned themes tend to point out  the stake and effects of communication inside the system of local public administration,  and also some considerations concerning the specificity of communicative process in public  institutions.
