The Need for Accelerated Digitization of Public Administration in Romania

Abstract
The study analyzes the need to accelerate the digitization of public administration in Romania in the post-pandemic period. The paper starts from the e-Government Strategy in Romania and the National Strategy regarding the Digital Agenda for Romania and analyzes the objectives and achievements so far. It also studies the way in which key IT platforms in Romania directly serve citizens and companies, but also the way in which relevant IT platforms with a horizontal and national role are important factors for the consolidation of e-government.
